Sønderborg Kommune DK arranged a competition for the best local Start Up Company in 2020
Horn Vinduer has in the RECO2ST program developed a combination of Smart Window (Ventilation Window), A Sun Wall with encapsulated PCM, an extraction heat pump and an electronic control of the energy and indoor climate. Horn Vinduer became the winner among several promising projects as the Air Flow Wall is able to save 40-60% of the total energy use in a building together with securing a perfect indoor climate so mold grows in the buildings will be avoided. The system was evaluated to be a promising system to be installed around EU countries.
Horn Vinduer intends to start up a daughter company (Air Flow Wall ApS) during 2021 and are seeking for partners around Europe
